Ukrainian authorities have strengthened security measures on the eve of February 24.
We must prepare for Russia’s possible resorting to a new large-scale shelling in the near future. Ivan Sichen, a military analyst, expert of the Borysfen Intel Center for Geopolitical Studies said in a comment to Gazeta.ua.
“Russia can no longer come up with anything new. They can again fire missiles, launch drones. But we are already knocking down most of them. All previous plans of the occupiers failed. Previously, they shelled barracks and units, there were many casualties — this is no longer the case. Missiles and drones may not hit targets. They tried to strike the transport infrastructure — it didn’t work. They didn’t succeed with energy infrastructure either”, says Sichen.
The Russians may again resort to large-scale missile attacks. But fundamentally, it will not change anything, the analyst adds.
“But how much they will succeed is an open question. A new large-scale offensive cannot be developed. They have big problems with people, equipment and ammunition. It is worth preparing for the shelling today or in the coming days. But fundamentally, it will not change anything”, says Sichen.

Ukraine is stepping up security measures on the eve of February 24, the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Russian troops on the territory of our state. Due to possible provocations and shelling by the Russian Federation, citizens are urged to avoid mass gatherings, if possible, switch to remote work, and also to respond to air alarms. |
